A well earned rest
We rest today in Amsterdam which is much needed. We will have a lazy day and go and walk around some of the city and sights.
We shall all be supporting Holland tonight as they play Portugal in the Euro 2012 football Championships.
Tomorrow we cycle to the Hook of Holland and to our overnight ferry. Our
journey is almost complete.

We made it to Amsterdam !
Hi all,
Day 8 and we made it to Amsterdam. The head wind was pretty much all the way so this was the hardest day so far. We enjoy a rest day tomorrow and a well earned rest.
The journey so far has been epic and we have pushed ourselves to the limit. After tomorrow only 2 more cycle days to go to complete the DK2UK cycle challenge.

DK2UK update
Hi all
Day 7.. On our way to Meppel in Holland today, this will be 2 countries complete with 2 more to go. We have cycled some 430 miles so far. The endurance is challenging but we are working together to get to our end destination each day. Thank you all for your ongoing support. We have stayed in some beautiful surroundings with wonderful hosts. The German countryside is very pretty and the biking through woods is certainly our highlight...

Why EACH?
East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) supports families and cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex. We provide care and support wherever the family wishes – in families’ own homes, in hospital or at one of our hospices
The majority of EACH’s costs are not for specialist equipment, but for delivering the one-to-one nursing and supportive care so vital to the children, young people and their families. Here is what your money provides.............
- £10 Allows our Chef to prepare and cook meals for all family members staying at the hospice
- £20 Essential care kit for our nurses to use when providing care in the family home.
- £74 Two hours of bereavement support for all family members
- £148 Four hours of care at end of life
- £296 Eight hours of short break care
- £591 A children’s palliative care nurse for a week
.............YOUR SUPPORT REALLY MAKES A DIFFERENCE!
